Sleep Disorder Research

Given a marked decrease in orexin A in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with narcolepsy, which is a sleep disorder, orexin A may play an important role in sleep. Radioimmunoassay has been widely used to measure orexin A, but only in limited research institutions due to the necessity of using radioisotopes (RIs).
FUJIFILM Wako handles ELISA kits, which allow you to measure orexin A easily without using RI, orexin peptides, and non-peptide orexin 2 receptor agonists.
