Pretreatment
In the analysis of residual pesticides and veterinary drugs, a sample (foods, etc.) contains a large amount of impurities. Therefore, it is necessary to extract target substances for analysis (pesticides and veterinary drugs) and purify (pretreatment) them in advance.
Pretreatment of a sample contributes not only to an improved separation by chromatography, but also to an increased analytical repeatability and an augmented lifespan of the column.
FUJIFILM Wako deal in "Presep® Agri Series", which is a solid-phase extraction column optimal for pretreatment of residual pesticides and veterinary drugs before analysis; we also deal in "Wakopak® Wakosil Agri Series", which is an HPLC column optimal for analysis, and its special eluent.
