JCSS Standard Solutions
JCSS is an abbreviation for Japan Calibration Service System and represents the traceability system based on the Measurement Act. JCSS reference materials have assured traceability to specified reference materials manufactured by CERI, a designated calibration body under the Measurement Act, and are provided to users by JCSS-registered operators as reference materials accompanied by a certificate with a JCSS mark. Additionally, the results of value assignment described in JCSS certificates issued by operators certified by IA Japan as international MRA-compliant certified operators are accepted internationally through the MRA of ILAC/APAC.

About JCSS
JCSS is an abbreviation for Japan Calibration Service System and represents the traceability system based on the Measurement Act. JCSS consists of two pillars: “measurement standard supply system” and “calibration operator registration system.”
- Measurement standard supply system: The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology is the only national measurement standard organization in Japan.
- Calibration operator registration system: National Institute of Technology and Evaluation International Accreditation Japan (IAJapan) operates the system on behalf of the government.
Fujifilm Wako meets the JCSS requirements1) (including compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to the Measurement Act and ISO/IEC 17025) and have been accredited as an international MRA-compliant JCSS-registered operator certified by IA Japan. We are also certified as a producer of reference materials based on the certification standard of JIS Q 0034 (ISO Guide 34:2009).

- JCSS is compliant with the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) of ILAC/APAC, and the results of value assignment in the calibration certificates issued by our company are internationally acceptable through the MRA of ILAC2) /APAC3).(ISO Guide 34 is not covered by the MRA of ILAC.)
