| Outline | It is also called white petrolactam, and is manufactured by purifying jellylike semisolid wax obtained from petroleum. This is a hydrocarbon mixture, containing less normal paraffin and more isoparaffin compared to paraffin wax, and is characterized by its low melting point. It is used as a base material of ointment, cosmetic cream, and a base material for stick. The product is highly purified with superior stability over time, and emits no peroxidative rancidity. |
