| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.It is an equivalent of diazomethane. It is used as an O-methylating agent of phenol or carboxylic acid. In contrast to an explosive gas of diazomethane, the product is liquid of which stability is increased with a trimethylsilyl (TMS) group. The product corresponds to TMS diazomethane dissolved into hexane to be about 10% (about 0.6 mol/L). |
