Lipase PS IM Amano, Immobilized on Diatomaceous Earth

This is an enzyme preparation of granules mainly composed of lipase obtained from culturing bacteria. As an enzyme used for synthesis, it can be employed as a catalyst for asymmetric synthesis.
Lipase has many lipid-soluble amino acids on the enzyme surface, and is known to be stable as it maintains spatial structure even in organic solvents. Further, it is an enzyme catalyst useful for asymmetric synthesis; it shows high catalytic activity and regioselectivity for a wide range of substrates under moderate conditions of normal temperature and pressure.
