Outline	<(Basic) Reagent for Biochemistry><Emission Spectroanalysis Reagent> The phenomenon of atoms or molecules emitting light excited by the energy produced by chemical reaction near the room temperature is called chemiluminescence. The chemiluminescence method can analyze produced components at high sensitivity (pmol to fmol). <Chemiluminescence Reagent> For the chemiluminescence analysis method, the system in the presence of oxidants such as H2O2 and Fe represented by the luminol reaction (substances themselves involved in the reaction are excited and emit light), system in which an active intermediate produced by the reaction between oxalate and H2O2 excites a fluorescent substance (substances involved in the reaction themselves do not emit light and serve as an energy source), etc. are known and can be all measured with a photomultiplier tube. <Luminol System> The product is used as a reagent for detecting hydrogen peroxide, copper, iron, etc. and is applied to the identification of blood stains. It is also used as a sensitizer for chemiluminescence measurement on leukocytes, bactericidal activity, and phagocytes. <Enzyme Substrate>
