Overview
This product is a protecting group of benzyloxymethyl (BOM) type that can be used to protect alcohol, thiol, and carboxylic acid. PMBOMCl used for introduction of conventional p-methoxybenzyloxymethyl (PMBOM) group is slightly unstable and preparation is required before use. On the other hand, this product can be stored longer and preparation before use is unnecessary.
