| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. Carboxin is a microbicide that has an inhibitory action against succinate dehydrogenase, which is a mitochondrial respiratory enzyme. It is mainly used for disinfection against pathogens of smut, soft rot, and blight in seeds of grain, pulses, onions, and rapeseed, etc. It has not been registered as a pesticide in Japan. The provisional standard has been determined based on standards in foreign countries in accordance with introduction of the positive list system. Objects of the residual carboxin regulation are defined as "carboxin and sulfoxide form". |
