Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. It is one of homogeneous hydrogenation catalysts and is known as the Crabtree's catalyst¹⁾. As the Crabtree's catalyst is a cationic complex, it binds to coordinating functional groups such as the hydroxyl group, causing the surface-selective hydrogenation of a double bond. In addition, although it is generally difficult to reduce low-reacting tetrasubstituted olefins using the Wilkinson's catalyst, the Crabtree's catalyst allows the progression of these reactions of the tetrasubstituted olefins.
