| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This product is a standard for agricultural chemical residue analysis. Cyenopyrafen is a pyrazole acaricide. Unlike conventional acaricides, the product of hydrolyzed cyenopyrafen, which is generated by the metabolism in vivo, acts on Complex II of the mitochondrial electron transport chain by non-competitively inhibiting the transfer of electrons from succinate to coenzyme Q. This action is posited to potently disrupt cellular respiration in acarines. This product has been registered in accordance to the Agricultural Chemicals Regulation Act of Japan (new applications include use for citrus fruits, apples and pears). |
