| Outline | It is used for staining cell nuclei. It contains twice as much hematoxylin as the ordinary carazzi hematoxylin solution. It is suited to ultra-thin sections. Various compositions of hematoxylin solutions are available and nuclei are stained slightly deeper blue by the Carazzi method than by the Mayer method. |
