| Outline | Chromaticity represents the degree of water color; the hue developed when the standard chromaticity solution containing 1 mg of platinum and 0.5 mg of cobalt is dissolved in 1,000 mL of water is specified as 1 degree. (The test for chromaticity is included in the quality tests in the "Test Methods for Drinking Water" and the "Standard Methods of Analysis for Hygienic Chemists".) This product is adjusted to 100 degrees and is used by diluting appropriately according to the measurement samples. |
