| Outline | This is an inhibitor of protein synthesis in gram-positive bacteria, fungi, and yeast. Resistance genes (derived from bacteria: bsr, derived from mold: bsd) have been isolated and used for the selection of genetically modified plants. - A nucleoside antibiotic - Inhibits protein synthesis in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. Concentration used: 50-100 μg/mL (bacteria); 2-10 μg/mL (mammalian cells) Composition: 20 mmol/L HEPES, pH 7.5 This product is prepared as a 10mg/mL solution. This product is for research use only.
