Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This product is used as a reagent for trimethylsilyl derivatization before gas chromatography. N,O-Bis(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide (BSTFA) alone cannot completely derivatize amides, secondary amines and sterically-hindered hydroxyl groups. However, derivatization of such moieties becomes possible just by adding TMCS at a ratio of 1 to 20 %.
