| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.p-APMSF is used as a serine protease activity inhibitor. Since it specifically suppresses the activity of blood coagulation factor Xa, it is used for the study of blood coagulation mechanism. Compared to DFP (diisopropylfluorophosphate), it is easy to handle because it is powder and soluble to water. In addition, it is reported that serine protease inhibitory activity is several hundred times higher than DFP and PMSF. It inhibits the activity of trypsin, thrombin, plasmin, kallikrein and others. It does not affect chymotrypsin or acetylcholinesterase. |
