| Outline | Apigenin is one of plant flavonoids and it changes phenotypes of many ras transformed cells tothe original form. This is achieved by inhibition of signal transduction route mediating MAP kinase.In case of NIH3T3 cells transformed by v-H-ras, treatment with apinigen (12.5 micro mol/L)induces dephosphorylation of p44mapk resulting in a decrease in MAP kinase activity. |
