| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. Three sub-types of IDH (Isocitrate dehydrogenase), IDH1, IDH2, and IDH3 are known in human. Among them, point mutations in IDH1 and IDH2 are frequently observed in grade IV secondary glioblastoma, which has progressed from WHO classification grade II, III or lower-grade glioma. Mutations in IDH1 observed in glioma occur in arginine residue 132, and 80% of them is R132H type mutation while R132S type has also been reported partly. This clone is able to detect more sensitively and specifically than clone No.H09, which is recommended by WHO guidelines. |
