Auxins
Auxin is one of the representative plant hormones and mostly exists in plants as indole acetic acid (IAA), a tryptophan derivative. It is present mainly at the tips of stems and roots and plays important roles in a wide range of processes in plant life activities, including elongation and growth of stems and roots, cell division, blossoming, fruit maturation, and stress responses.
