Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This product is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Angiotensin II increases blood pressure. It competes specifically with angiotensin II, an inducer of biological hypertension, for binding with the angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1) mainly in the vascular smooth muscle. This action consequently relieves vasoconstriction and reduces blood pressure.
