Outline Pathologically abnormal animals are used for investigating causes of diseases and treatments. Pathologically abnormal animals are roughly classified into experimental pathogenesis models and spontaneous pathogenesis models, and such reagents are used for creating experimental pathogenesis models. Transgenic animals using gene manipulation have been extensively studied in recent years.The product is used as an inflammatory model in the foodpad edema test.
One of the viscous polysaccharides mainly of Chondorus crispus. Carrageenin, used extensively as a gelling agent in Europe and the US, is available in kappa- and lambda-forms. This product is lambda-carrageenin and is not precipitated by potassium chloride.
