| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. TRPA 1 (Transient Receptor Potential Ankyrin 1) is a selective antagonist. It shows strong effects on humans and rats. TRPA1 was reported as a channel activated by cold stimulus below 17 °C. Besides low temperature, it is activated by allyl isothiocyanate, cinnamaldehyde, which is a component of mustard and cinnamon, and is thought to be involved in the transmission of pain. It is also reported that it is involved in breathing control. |
