0.5w/v% Methyl Cellulose 400 Solution, Sterilized
This product is a 0.5 w/v% aqueous solution of Methyl Cellulose 400. In drug safety and toxicity studies, water-insoluble drugs are suspended in a viscous methyl cellulose solution and orally administered to animals. However, it takes time to dissolve methyl cellulose, which is slightly soluble in water. This product involves no complicated dissolution process and has been sterilized.
