| Outline | Background: Diisocyanate compounds are used as raw material of adhesives, paints and urethaneform. The concentrations of their substances in the working environment are restricted due to their strong toxicities. The assay method is described in OHSA methods 42 and ASTM methods D5836 in the US. Summary of the assay methods: Derivatives TDI, MDI and HDI with 1-(2-pyridyl)piperazine (:1-2pp), and then analyzed by HPLC. These products are derivative standards with 1-2 pp for HPLC analysis. |
