It is used as a Tris buffer. It exhibits strong buffering effect between pH 7.0 and 9.0, and the buffer solution has no inhibitory effect on enzymes and is stable for long-term storage. Absorbance: E (260 nm)=max 0.03 (2 M/1 cm). It is not hygroscopic and is stable for a long period of time at room temperature.pH (0.1 mol/L solution) 10.0 to 10.8The buffer substance used most commonly in biochemistry.
