Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This is a cytokine in which biological raw materials are not used during the culture and purification processes. Stem cell factor (SCF) triggers intracellular signaling via the c-Kit receptor and promotes the growth of blood cells in the early stages of hematopoeisis. In bone marrow cultures, SCF has been found to stimulate the proliferation of progenitor cells for bone marrow, erythroblasts and lymphocytes. SCF in its native form exists on the cell membrane as a transmembrane cytokine. This product consists of soluble SCF without the transmembrane domain.
