| Outline | Paraffin for embedding of pathologic tissue. Low melting point (mp. 54 to 56 degrees C), pellet type.Purified paraffin with uniform carbon distribution, to which a safe and stable high-molecular compound has been added to increase tissue permeability.It has a low melting point, fitness for sectioning, extensibility and penetrability, is suited to immunostain, and may be suitably used for embedding tissues from small experimental animals, such as mice and rats, which are otherwise difficult to embed.Melting condition: It melts at 58 degrees C. |
