Outline	<(Basic)Reagent for Biochemistry>The phenomenon of atoms or molecules emitting light excited by the energy produced by a chemical reaction near room temperature is called chemiluminenscence. Chemiluminescent analysis can analyze the produced component at high sensitivity (pmol to fmol).For the chemiluminescence analysis method, the system in the presence of oxidants such as H2O2 and Fe represented by the luminol reaction (substances themselves involved in the reaction are excited and emit light), system in which an active intermediate produced by the reaction between oxalate and H2O2 excites a fluorescent substance (substances involved in the reaction themselves do not emit light and serve as an energy source), etc. are known and can be all measured with a photomultiplier tube. This product is purified to an extremely high purity and has an ability to emit light about 1,000 times or greater than the conventional luminol product. It is made the sodium salt to be freely soluble in water.Peroxidase: Photocount Ep: min 1,000,000 (within 5 seconds) Wako's Luminol Sodium Salt HG is prepared as a highly purified sodium salt of luminol with a luminol reaction more than 1,000 times higher than generic reagents in chemiluminescence emission on decomposition by Horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Features: 1. High chemiluminescence emission. 2. Soluble in water as sodium salt. 3. Few contaminants except sodium.
