Interleukin 7 (IL-7) promotes the proliferation of progenitor B cells, stimulating the proliferation of thymocytes, progenitor T cells, and mature CD8+ and CD4+ T cells. It also induces the development of lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells. It is known that IL-7 combined with ConA or IL-2 can co-stimulate the proliferation of mature T cells. |
