Outline	Interferon is a protein with antiviral activity produced and secreted by vertebrate cells (excluding amphibians) in response to viral infections, etc., with a molecular weight of approximately 20 kDa. In mammals, there are three main types of IFN-alpha, -beta, and -gamma. While alpha and beta types share chemical structural similarities, gamma type is chemically distinct from the other two. The production of IFN-gamma is limited to T cells and NK cells stimulated by mitogens (such as Concanavalin A) or sensitizing antigens, and it is not virus-induced. It is a multifunctional factor with various biological activities, including antiviral effects, cell proliferation inhibition, antitumor effects, macrophage activation, enhancement of NK cell activity, regulation of immune responses, and regulation of differentiation induction. Carrier protein-free. Sterilized by filtration with a 0.2 um filter, then freeze-dried.
Precautions for Use	This product contains only a small amount of contents, which may not be visible. Be sure to centrifuge before opening the cap.
