Overview / Applications
| Outline | Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor primarily produced by monocytes, macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and bone marrow stromal cells. It promotes the proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil precursor cells, enhances the function of mature neutrophils, facilitates the mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells and mature neutrophils into the peripheral blood, and stimulates the proliferation of bone marrow leukemia cells and certain solid tumor cells. |
