Outline	In addition to electrophoresis of nucleic acids, Agarose HE, ME, and LE are also suited for immunoelectrophoresis because gels of any arbitrary electroendosmosis value can be prepared by mixing the three types of agarose, HE, ME, and LE.Gelling temperature: 38 to 42 degrees C (reference value, concentration: 1.5 %)Gel strength: min. 800 g/cm2 (at a concentration of 1.5 %)Electroendosmosis (EEO) (-Mr): 0.16 to 0.19 (Medium EEO product)Sulfate (SO4): max. 0.4 % The product, prepared by special purification of agar and called agarose, contains little agaropectin (therefore little sulfur and ash content) and is most suited for electrophoresis.
