| Outline | The product comprises antifoaming agent and iron powder as catalyst that are used for treatment of high COD wastewater with DOWA's wastewater treatment system LIPCO.[Mechanism of wastewater treatment]1. Substances to be oxidized in the wastewater are strongly oxidized by the hydroxy radical (OH) generated in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and ferrous ions.2. Copper ions enhance reduction of ferric ions.3. Ferrous ions are eluted in the presence of iron powder and copper ions.4.
