The Water Quality Standards were revised in May 2003. In this revision, 13 items were newly added to make a total of 50 items for water quality standards. Many of the test methods were also changed and measures to deal with the changes are prompted before implementation in April 2004.
Wako Pure Chemical Industries has started sales of 1,4-dioxane, turbidity, aionic surfactants, etc. to reflect the revision.
