Filler for normal phase chromatography……Wakosil 25SIL/Wakosil 40SILFiller for reverse phase chromatography……Wakosil 25C18/Wakosil 40C18Wakosil 25 Series and 40 Series are made of spherical porous silica gel. Because of its small pressure loss and inexpensive price, the product is most suited to large diameter columns or flash chromatography. It also uses spherical silica gel with a sharp particle size distribution, and thus can achieve high performance even during a high-speed flow.We offer silica gel fillers unmodified for the normal phase (adsorptive) mode, Wakosil 25SIL, 40SIL, and silica gels chemically modified with the ODS group for the reverse phase mode, Wakosil 25C18, 40C18.In particular, 20C18 and 40C18 have the ODS group modified in a unique manner. They are also finished with end cap treatment. Those products ensure excellent chemical stability, and can reduce running cost. However, because of its expensive support or other reasons, a fractured filler is mainly used in those fields. The Wakosil SIL C18 Series has been developed to provide an inexpensive, high performance spherical filler.This is a filler for mass (preparative) isolation by HPLC columns, Wakopak Wakosil 5SIL and Wakosil 5C18. This exhibits similar separation behaviors to HPLC, and is ideal for scaling up from analysis.- Features1) It uses spherical silica gel with little distortion.2) It has high particle strength and is stable in usage for a long period of time.3) It has small pressure loss and can be used with a high-speed flow.4) ODS has been finished with high end cap treatment (Wakosil C18 Series).
