| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. Produced using all non-animal reagents. Stem cell factor is a ligand for c-Kit/CD117, a receptor tyrosine kinase, and promotes differentiation, proliferation, migration, and survival of hematopoietic cells, melanocytes, and germ cells. Stem cell factor alone has a weak effect on immature progenitor cells, but when used in combination with other hematopoietic factor cytokines (especially EPO, TPO), it exhibits a remarkable synergistic effect. While human Stem Cell Factor shows no activity on mouse cells, mouse and rat Stem Cell Factor are active on human cells. |
