| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. rBC2LCN, a recombinant lectin that specifically recognizes undifferentiated cells, is labeled with FITC. rBC2LCN is a recombinant lectin expressed in E. coli from the N-terminal domain of BC2L-C, a lectin derived from Burkholderia cenocepacia. BC2LCN has a high affinity for glycans on the cell surface of human ES/iPS cells. Since this product is labeled with a fluorescent dye, it can be added to the medium in which human ES/iPS cells are cultured at an appropriate concentration to stain the cells while they are alive. No cytotoxicity has been observed even after several days of culture in the presence of this product. This product can be used for both cell staining and flow cytometry. (Excitation=495nm, Emission=520nm) |
