| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. Myostatin is a kind of TGF-beta family discovered as a factor involved in modulation of the amount of muscles. It inhibits growth of skeletal muscles and, in knockout mice, increase in skeletal muscles and decrease in body fat mass have been reported. The activity of myostatin is inhibited by follistatin, which is an activin-binding protein, and myostatin propeptide. |
