Overview / Applications
| Outline | A hydrolase. It is used for determination of nitril glycoside (existing mainly as linamarin) contained in raw bean jam. This product is an enzyme isolated and purified from butter beans and specifically cleaves the beta-glycoside bond of nitril glycoside (existing mainly as linamarin) contained in raw bean jam to release hydrogen cyanide.Released hydrogen cyanide is distilled with steam and determined by the pyridine-pyrazolone method. |
