| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This is a cytokine in which biological raw materials are not used during the culture and purification processes. Interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) is a type II interferon produced mainly from activated NK cells, CD4-positive T cells, and CD8-positive T cells. It induces transcription of molecules with antiviral activity and activates macrophages at the time of viral infections. The IFN-gamma signal transmission system modulates antigen specificity in the immune response of antigen presentation cells and antigen recognizing B/T lymphocytes. |
