Application

Overview / Applications

Outline Diphosphopyridine nucleotide in its reduced form is generally unstable in acids and relatively stable in alkalis. It acts as a substrate for NAD-requiring DNA ligase and for ADP-ribosylation in proteins.
A coenzyme of dehydrogenase. It is called the reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide disodium salt. This product is one of the coenzymes involved in a wide range of oxidation-reduction reactions performing NAD (oxidized form)-NADH (reduced form) reactions and it conjugates in an energy-producing mechanism in the body.
