| Outline | The substance is used as a desorption solvent for substances adsorbed to activated charcoal for measurement by gas chromatography-individual collection method (activated charcoal tube) in the measurement method for specific chemical substances and organic solvents in work environments. It has been confirmed that blank substances such as benzene are hardly detected by the capillary GC method. In comparison to special grade carbon disulfide, the content of benzene is about 1/30 (the absolute amount in 1 mL is not more than 40 ng). See the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. |
