Outline	A derivative of pyrazolone Pharmacological action:1.It lowers the elevated thermal set point in the thermoregulation center and thus lowers the temperature.2.It relieves pain through its action on the hypothalamus.3.It inhibits synthesis of prostaglandin and thus exerts antiinflammatory action.Reduction of fever, pain relief. Antiinflammatory and antirheumatic actions are weak. It acts on the thermoregulation center and promotes sweating and thereby helps reducing fever. Aminopyrine is a drug with antipyretic, analgetic and antiinflammatory action.
